Renault FT-17 (MG)
Review by Simon Barnes HäT Kit No. 8114

Although Pricipally a WW I tank the FT-17 did see limited service at the beginning of WW II and was even used by the Luftwaffe in occupied France. The FT-17 saw service in many countries in the years between the two wars ranging from The USA to Russia to China so there are a lot of possibilities for painting and markings,

The two kits are basically the same with just the turret armament changing, the kit is correct in size and detail with the track units suiting this method of moulding better than the other vehicles. The only down side to these kits is the fact that the kit walls are moulded very thick making the opening of the hatches difficult but not impossible. The hull and turrets have some very nice rivet detail on them.
