is my first encounter with the products manufactured by ADM Models
and I am suitably impressed.
The casting quality and detail is top notch: only two small airbubbles
were found after thoroughly scrutinizing the parts, flash is minor
and warping non-existing which resulted in a perfect (dry-)fit.
This is also the first time I am giving the choice to build a diorama
item in either undamaged or damaged form.
If
you build it in undamaged state (and leave the door closed) construction
work is minimal. If you leave the door open, you might want to add
some ornaments, like an altar or images.
To build it in damaged form, you will need to replace the rear wall
by a damaged alternative. Rubble is provided to add a realistic effect.
The modeler can leave the roof off or modify these parts as desired.
(The roof parts are styrene and thus easily cut up.) As the interior
faces of the walls are plain, some engraving will be called for and
some extra interior detail might be useful.
The approach the manufacturer has chosen also means that, whatever
you, you will have a spare wall left that you could use as a backdrop
for another project.
A
nice touch is the provision of green transparent acetate for the windows.
As far
as I can tell, the style of building will fit in any diorama depicting
a scene in a Christian country.
The chapel
was eventually used in this
diorama.
