From Italy. These are out of production. From what I understand, their series of modern troops were too small for 1/72nd, and not of very high quality. But their WW II figures are supposedly larger and better detailed. Some of the WW II series were actually re-boxes of their modern series, and are therefore left off the table. Comments are from Ricardo Haddad.
Kit Number Kit Name Comments
1563 German Infantry - WW II 1/72. Bad detailed and stiffy poses, with two nice exceptions (prone throwing grenade and advancing). Similar to Arifix, but the latter did their homework much better.
1564 British Infantry - WW II 1/72 - bad figures, with one nice exception (the sitting one).
1566 Soviet Infantry - WW II 1/76TH, ALTHOUGH THE BOX SAYS 1/72ND. SOME INTERESTING POSES FOR GUARDS IN GREATCOATS, ALTHOUGH THE HEADS SEEM TO BE BIGGER. WITH SOME HEAD SWAPS YOU CAN HAVE A GOOD AND UNUSUAL KIT. THE MAXIM MG IS OUT OF SCALE (ABOUT 1/48TH). REISSUED
1569 German Afrika Korps - WW II 1/72ND OR BIGGER. VERY BIG FIGURES. EXCELLENT DETAIL. HELMETS AND CAPS MOLDED SEPARATELY, INCLUDING THE FAMOUS PITH HELMET. WITH THIS, YOU CAN GET 4 POSES (ONE WEARING HELMET, CAP, PITH HELMET OR WEARING NO HAT). DELETED
1570 Hindu Infantry - WW II Size similar to Afrika Korps. Excellent detail, but poses tend to be 2D. Overscales Vickers MG. Better use 1/72 8th Army and British Infantry kits and swap heads with Khyber Pass Infantry.
1572 Japanese Infantry - WW II 1/72ND. NICE DETAIL. MATCHES PERFECTLY WITH ESCI. REPRESENTS THE IMPERIAL GUARD. NICE POSES, SOME UNUSUAL. ALSO UNUSUAL WEAPONS.
1573 US Infantry - WW II 1/76 - Reasonable to poor ones.
