"The Panther which I call the Ultimate Panther was converted from three kits. I took the best parts from the following kits. From the ESCI Panther I took the hull and gun barrel. From the Hasegawa kit I used the wheels because they had the correct number of bolts for the Ausf A. The turret came from the same kit because it had the best profile but was too short. I overcame this by adding a four mil plastic card base cut and filed to fit. Revell panther supplied the tracks and turret details. I covered the the tank with zimmerit using Duro and the commander was also home made using the same product."
