Introduction
This kit represents the first production variant of the SU-76 self-propelled gun with completely enclosed superstructure. Only 170 were built in 1942/43 before production was switched to the new open-top model with a more reliable engine.

Contents
There are 6 sprues of typical green plastic. Two sprues with wheels and tracks are the same as in the kits of the T-70M and T-80 tanks and ZSU-37 SP guns. The superstructure is provided as one piece with a separated rear wall with large doors. A small PE fret contains various minute details. This kit also shares a lot of parts with that of the SU-76M.

Accuracy
The kit looks very detailed and most of the parts are nice. But there are also faults. There is an ugly sink mark alongside the lower edge of the rear wall of the superstructure. Other sink marks are on both sides of the gun mantlet.

Markings
Decals are provided for two versions of the same vehicle. It has number 305 and inscription Za rodinu (For the motherland). The difference is in the camouflage – one is overall green and one is with a winter whitewash.
