"Survivors" German Tank Crew

Kit number # 72-02

Preview by Rob Haelterman

This set contains 5 resin figures representing (mostly) wounded crew from a stricken tank.

  • A figure coming out of a hatch. This is not necessarily a wounded crewman; the figure could also serve for a crewmember just “peeping out” of his hatch. The figure is wearing coveralls.
  • A standing crewmember, clutching his left arm. The figure is wearing the late war reed green tunic and trousers with pockets.
  • A sitting crewmember, scratching his head. The figure is wearing the black or Feldgrau tunic and trousers without pockets.
  • A walking crewmember supported by another. The figure is wearing the late war reed green tunic and trousers with pockets.
  • A walking crewmember supporting another. The figure is wearing the black or Feldgrau tunic without pockets and the reed green trousers with pockets.

The latter two figures are cast as one, but come in multiple parts. For more info on the different uniforms, I refer to this article.

Casting is perfect, anatomy and tunics are realistically rendered. The figures scale out between 170 and 180cm. While not really cheap, they will be an eye catcher in a diorama when properly painted.
