Opel Blitz 1.5 ton

This is a 1/72 scale 1.5 ton Opel cargo truck conversion from an Airfix 1/76 scale Opel Blitz. It just so happens that the vehicles had exterior similarities. The 1.5 ton truck was of course smaller, had different rear fenders (modified) and a smaller bed (scratchbuilt). These 1.5 trucks were not nearly as numerous as the more successful 3-ton Opels and were discontinued early in WW2 so I modeled mine in an early panzergray color. The second photo shows the 1/72 3-ton and the 1/72 1.5 ton next to each other for comparison.
